For some, the thought of undergoing laser treatment is a frightening thought, but it shouldn’t be. Optical Express has carried out over 600,000 successful treatments.
They use the iLasik system of treatment. Two computer guided precision lasers are used which incorporate ultra-fast cool laser beams. The first beam creates a thin protective flap on the cornea and the second gently reshapes the inner layers of the eye.
The eye is anaesthetised throughout the process with eye drops, so the patient should experience no pain. Occasionally some patients will experience some minor discomfort in the day or two following the treatment.
Many patients experience immediate improvement in their vision and all will experience it within 24 hours.
Vision Centre is available to offer advice and information about the procedure. Patients can also return to Vision Centre for their aftercare appointments.
Pop into Vision Centre Gloucester at 114 Northgate Street and our team will be happy to explain the treatment in detail. Alternatively give us a call on 01452 410494 or take a look round our website at www.visiongloucester.co.uk.
